The number transfer network is coming, three major operators, mobile, telecommunications, China Unicom, how do you choose? Yesterday, the Chongqing Morning Post · Upstream News reporter learned that within this month, the three major telecommunications operators will provide portability services across the country, and users will be able to switch networks according to their own needs. At present, China Unicom has opened a dedicated channel for "number porting to the network", which can be quickly carried in three steps.
Provide number portability service nationwide this month
What is "number porting"? "Number portability" means changing the mobile network service of a telecommunications operator without changing the telephone number. According to the arrangement, the entire number portability transfer network is divided into three stages.
The first stage is the construction and transformation stage, that is, the formulation of the construction and transformation plan, the operator completes the project establishment, procurement, network and system transformation, and network testing. It has the conditions for inter-network joint adjustment and joint testing, and the ICT Institute completes the construction and transformation of the centralized business management system. , And simultaneously build network security guarantee facilities.
The second phase is the joint debugging and testing phase, that is, before the end of October, all operators and ICT Institutes have completed the joint business commissioning and testing of the entire business process, and have system cut-off and online conditions. Before November 10, all operators and ICT Institutes completed the system cutover and went online, did a good job of network security related work such as system rating filing, risk assessment, compliance assessment, etc., and had the ability to provide users with "number porting to network" service.
The third stage is the service provision stage, that is, before September 20, Tianjin, Hainan Province, Jiangxi Province, Hubei Province, and Yunnan Province completed the trials and officially provided services in accordance with the "number transfer to network" management policy. From November 10th to 25th, the other 26 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) launched the "porting with numbers" service for trial operation. Before November 30, services will be officially provided nationwide.
Number portability must meet these conditions
The reporter learned that in the previous five pilot provinces and cities in China, 2.3 million users had transferred their numbers to the Internet. In this batch of pilot cities, China Mobile transferred 162,000 users and transferred 250,000 users; China Unicom transferred 14.7 Ten thousand users, 161,000 users were transferred out; China Telecom transferred 168,000, and transferred 66,000.
What are the requirements for number portability?
First of all, the user must register the true identity information with the carrier, be in normal use, and settle the telecommunication costs with the carrier. At the same time, there is no agreement with the carrier on the duration of the online agreement, or the online limit has been lifted. , Has been incorporated into the network for 120 days (natural day).
What should I do to transfer the number?
First, check with the porter to see if the number meets the port transfer requirements. The user can edit the short message CXXZ # username # ID number and send it to the hotline of the current operator (to be transferred out of the operator) to check whether it is eligible for port transfer. When the transfer conditions are met, the user can apply for a transfer authorization code to the porter, and apply to the porter for portability, and obtain a new phone card after completing the transfer.
Carriers will implement the unified deployment
It's been less than a month before the number portability transfer. How is Chongqing's port number transfer going?
It is understood that China Unicom's mobile phone business hall has opened the "porting with numbers" channel. Transferring numbers to Unicom requires only three steps, including "confirming the portability of the transfer", "submitting the portability application" and "activating the number of China Unicom card". To determine eligibility, we must first determine whether there are any arrears, contract packages, and so on. If this step is passed, then you can choose the package to transfer to the network, and finally activate the new SIM card.
China Mobile and China Telecom have not yet opened the "porting with numbers" channel, but in order to retain old users, operators have also introduced preferential policies. For example, China Telecom has launched a special area for old users to retain users.
The three major operators have stated that the work of number portability is being actively prepared and will be implemented in accordance with the deployment of the group company. Chongqing Morning News · Li Shu
