The successful acceptance of the blast furnace gas desulfurization project marked a major breakthrough in the steel industry's blast furnace gas desulfurization purification problem.

Zhou Ruihua, the relevant person in charge of Jinnan Iron and Steel Group Corporation, said that this project has been running for the first time at Jinnan Iron and Steel since November 2019. It has been running safely and smoothly for nearly one and a half months, and all operating values meet national standards. After the blast furnace gas desulfurization and purification system treatment, the H2S content of the blast furnace gas is controlled below 20mg / m3, and it is sent to subsequent devices such as hot blast stoves and heating furnaces. The SO2 emission concentration of the flue gas after combustion is less than 35mg / N m3, which meets the national SO2 environmental protection emission. Regulatory requirements. The implementation of the project has greatly improved the air quality of the surrounding environment, and the follow-up end-user gas has reached ultra-low emission targets, saving end-user investment in desulfurization facilities.

Dong Yinghong, general manager of the device research and development company Bailitian Control Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd., introduced the development process of the gas refinery desulfurization project, saying that a good fight against the blue sky cannot be achieved without technological innovation. The company believes that desulfurization of blast furnace gas is the future development trend. Adhering to the concept of independent innovation, the company's research and development team has carried out product pilot tests and developed blast furnace gas refined desulfurization products through four years of targeted blast furnace gas refined desulfurization system process design and testing.

According to reports, the blast furnace gas fine desulfurization project belongs to the environmental protection and comprehensive utilization project of blast furnace gas desulfurization and purification. The "pre-purification treatment + dry catalysis + wet chemical absorption" desulfurization process has been selected. The combination of dry catalytic conversion and wet desulfurization processes not only achieves the high efficiency and stability of organic sulfur conversion and inorganic sulfur removal processes, but also gives full play to the technical and economic advantages of the respective processes for organic and inorganic sulfur removal. This project converts organic sulfur such as carbonyl sulfur and carbon disulfide contained in blast furnace gas into inorganic sulfur, so as to facilitate the removal of inorganic sulfur in subsequent units and control the total sulfur content; the desulfurization B tower used for inorganic sulfur removal uses mature and stable Wet desulfurization process, the desulfurization efficiency can reach 90% to 98%, with the advantages of high desulfurization efficiency, stable operation, abundant raw materials, and low operating costs.

Li Xianwu, Deputy Secretary-General of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, said that environmental protection is a guarantee for the high-quality development of the steel industry. The first set of blast furnace gas refinery system was successfully put into use in Shanxi Jinnan Iron and Steel Group, which has made new contributions to the standard and ultra-low emissions of blast furnace gas in the steel industry. In April 2019, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and other departments issued the "Work Plan for Ultra Low Emission Transformation of Iron and Steel Enterprises", which not only set clear requirements for ultra low emission indicators after end treatment, but also strengthened the entire process, system, and industry chain. Requirement, the implementation of ultra-low emissions is a top priority.
